Goodstart Semaphore Park is a 70-place centre catering to children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. Strategically located near local schools and public transport routes, our centre offers a unique blend of education and community.
Your Role as an Educational LeaderIn this part-time position, you will collaborate with educators to enhance the educational programs offered to children. Your expertise in the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards will guide the team's understanding of child development and early years content.
Key Responsibilities:- Educational Program Development: Work closely with the centre leadership team to observe, review, and continuously enhance educational programs.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with educators to deepen their understanding of child development and early years content.
- Leadership: Champion excellence in educational practice and lead transformative changes.
You'll receive a competitive salary, equivalent to state primary school teachers (if applicable), along with benefits including 50% discount on childcare fees, up to 6 weeks paid parental leave, paid professional development, and more.
RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) or a Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
- A current SA Working with Children Check.
