Job Description:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Spare Parts Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the storage and distribution of spare parts to our depots.
As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our fleet is properly equipped with the necessary parts to maintain optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain accurate records of stock levels, receipts, and dispatches.
- Conduct regular stocktakes and cyclic counts to ensure efficient stock levels.
- Raise purchase orders as required, adhering to company purchasing policies.
- Liaise with internal and external suppliers on stock issues.
- Analyse trends to optimize stock efficiency and identify obsolete or surplus stock.
- Work closely with the Fleet Manager to remove or sell surplus stock.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of receipted and dispatched stock.
- Manage warranty claims for replaced or repaired parts.
- Pick-up and deliver parts to depots as needed.
- Previous experience in warehousing, distribution, or logistics is preferred.
- Experience in parts supply and management is beneficial.
- Full car license (medium rigid license or higher) is mandatory.
- Strong computer literacy and administration skills with the ability to learn internal systems.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
