Lifestyle Coordinator

About the Role:

  • Encourage resident choice and participation in individual and group activities.
  • Conduct resident assessments to gain a deeper understanding of each resident's preferences and needs.
  • Plan and implement innovative events and lifestyle activities for residents and their families, involving the wider community and volunteers where possible.
  • Lead a team providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to the lifestyle team.
  • Work safely protecting yourself, your colleagues, and residents by following all policies and procedures.

To be successful, you'll need:
- A kind heart and passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly.
- Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or similar.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Coaching/training skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with residents and their families.
- Commitment to respecting values, customs, preferences, and spiritual beliefs of residents.
- Great IT skills that will be tested.
- NDIS and Police check clearance or willingness to obtain.
