Job Title: Associate Client Coverage Specialist

The role of an Associate Client Coverage Specialist is a dynamic and challenging position that requires the ability to manage key relationships with clients across various sectors, providing them with tailored solutions and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to bankers in covering and servicing the needs of clients, including complex transactions and day-to-day enquiries.
  • Work as part of a deal team over the lifecycle of a deal to support and drive documentation, execution, establishment, settlement, and maintenance processes.
  • Collect client information to facilitate and support the Know Your Customer (KYC) onboarding process for new clients and the KYC refresh process for existing clients.
  • Perform portfolio monitoring activities, such as breach management and reporting, and liaise with credit risk teams where required.
  • Input and maintain client, credit, and transaction data, ensuring accuracy and quality across systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and negotiation skills to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Understanding of risk management and credit risk issues.
  • Highly developed research and analytical skills to drive change, influence, and report to management.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills to address complex situations.
  • Experience in understanding operational drivers and their relation to financial drivers.
  • Ability to grasp complex structured transactions and analyze benefits for specific client circumstances.
  • Capacity to work in high-pressure environments with tight timeframes.
  • Understanding of systems used across IB&M and our product offering.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills combined with professional presentation.
