Job Title

The successful candidate will lead the operations of sport and recreation venues, driving a culture of safety and ensuring compliance with industry guidelines.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing operational strategies to deliver business objectives;
  • Providing leadership and direction to the venue operations team, promoting accountability and compliance;
  • Overseeing the safe operation of sport and recreation facilities, adhering to regulations and ensuring training requirements;
  • Managing plant operations and recycling systems, ensuring compliance and safeguards are followed;
  • Monitoring and managing key venue operations contracts, resolving issues as needed.

Requirements:

  • Leadership experience in operational roles within sport, aquatic, and recreation facilities;
  • Industry knowledge and commercial understanding of building and asset maintenance lifecycles;
  • Demonstrated skill in managing sport venue operations, contract agreements, and financial performance;
  • Experience in managing recycling systems, ensuring compliance and safeguards are followed;
  • Ability to set priorities, plan work programs, meet deadlines, and manage time effectively.
