Bids and Proposals Manager


About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Bids and Proposals Manager. In this critical role, you will own the end-to-end proposal development process, ensuring submissions are compliant, high-quality, and compelling.


Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the full proposal/bid lifecycle from planning through to submission.
  • Analyse tender requirements and ensure proposals meet specifications and deadlines.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams for clarity and alignment.
  • Implement governance, templates, and content libraries to drive efficiency and quality.
  • Facilitate kick-off meetings and review cycles to engage proposal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements
  • Proven experience managing complex proposals in business-to-business or government contracting environments (ASDEFCON experience highly regarded).
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience leading cross-functional proposal teams.
  • Australian Government security clearance required.
