Executive Director of Care Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our team as the General Manager of our residential aged care home in Healesville, Victoria.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the home, overseeing the delivery of quality care services to residents, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Management: Ensure the effective management of the home's operations, including the delivery of quality care services, maintenance of compliance with regulations and standards, and management of finances and budgets.
- Leadership and Team Management: Lead and manage a team of experienced care professionals, including Registered Nurses, Carers, Catering and Laundry staff, to ensure the delivery of high-quality care services.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive the growth and sustainability of the home, including the management of AN-ACC funding, care planning, and community engagement.
- Quality and Risk Management: Ensure the effective management of quality and risk within the home, including the identification and mitigation of risks, and the implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
- Financial Management: Manage the home's finances and budgets, including the management of wage and non-wage expenses.
- Staff Management: Manage the home's roster, including the recruitment, retention, and development of staff.
- Leadership Experience: Proven leadership experience in the service industry, retail, home care, and aged care.
- Roster Management: Extensive experience managing dynamic rosters and large front-line workforces.
- Financial Acumen: Proficiency in managing budgets, financial reporting, and resource allocation.
- Operational Excellence: Knowledge of day-to-day operations, with the ability to streamline processes for efficiency.
- Relationship Skills: Expertise in managing relationships with residents and their families, addressing concerns, and ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
