Key Responsibilities- Attract and cultivate a highly skilled workforce, fostering positive engagement among care home team members.
- Steer operational objectives and targets aligned with Aurrum Aged Care's strategic plan.
- Ensure the smooth functioning of the home, overseeing the delivery of quality care services to residents, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Ensure sustainable growth of the home through AN-ACC funding, care planning, and community engagement.
- Continual audit and review of all care home activities to ensure effective risk management and compliance standards are met.
- Active and timely management of resident and family complaints and incidents.
- Participate in the reaccreditation and compliance of the home.
- Management of finances and budgets (wage and non-wage expense).
- Optimising the home's roster, which maintains the retention of staff and employee engagement.
- Proven leadership experience in the service industry, retail, home care, and aged care.
- Aged Care is desirable, but not essential.
- Roster Management: Extensive experience managing dynamic rosters, and large front-line workforce.
- Leadership: the ability to inspire, motivate, and lead the Care Home team effectively by setting clear expectations, providing direction, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Financial Acumen: Proficiency in managing budgets, financial reporting, and resource allocation.
- Operational Excellence: Knowledge of day-to-day operations, with the ability to streamline processes for efficiency across the Care Home.
- Relationship Skills: Expertise in managing relationships with residents and their families, addressing concerns, and ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
