We are seeking an experienced and outstanding leader to join our team as the Senior Executive Director, Operational Support and Improvement Policy. This is a key role that will provide executive leadership and management of a program of work that supports the health and community care system to provide safe, high-quality and person-centred care to all Victorians.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of leading and delivering change in complex environments, with a deep understanding of the Victorian health and community care system. They will be able to provide strong leadership to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders to build shared commitment and coordinate implementation.
The role will lead a team of executives and directors and will oversee the development of policy reform and implementation across the health and community care system, with a strong focus on vulnerable cohorts. It will also be responsible for providing policy advice and implementing reforms that support the effective operation of Victoria's health and community care system.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a high degree of understanding and knowledge of the Victorian health system, relevant departmental systems and environments and the ability to build increased capability in others. They will also have senior experience in public health at state or national level and knowledge of contemporary approaches to health system demand and capacity management and response.
