We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Advisor to join our team at Sulzer Australia Pty Ltd. As a key member of our Quality, Environment, Health, and Safety (QESH) team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, customers, and the environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective safety systems and procedures to prevent injuries and illnesses.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating hazards.
- Lead incident investigations and develop corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Collaborate with operational teams to promote a safety-focused culture and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain safety training programs and materials.
- Monitor and report on safety performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Degree or Diploma in Safety or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a safety role, preferably in an industrial workshop or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel interstate up to 50% of the time.
