Stowe Australia is seeking a highly motivated and experienced HSEQ Coordinator to join our Sydney Service and Construction Team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong background in safety and compliance to contribute to the growth and success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct site visits and subcontractor audits to ensure compliance with HSEQ procedures.
- Participate in and lead Toolbox Talks and other training sessions to promote a safety culture.
- Drive the implementation of safety initiatives and expected behavior.
- Partner with Site Managers and front-line supervisors to provide subject matter expertise and guidance.
- Mentor and coach site leadership to manage and implement safety programs.
- Coordinate WH&S training for relevant staff.
- Investigate and implement corrective actions for injuries and incidents.
- Support project teams in incident management.
- Support injured workers and assist with return-to-work responsibilities.
- Administer and maintain WH&S data management systems.
- Assist with major safety audits.
- Ensure accurate records and documentation are maintained.
- Assist in project pre-planning to ensure compliance with WHS and environmental requirements.
- Work with supervisors and managers to improve safe operating procedures and plant and equipment management.
- Support operational teams with HSEQ activities and initiatives.
- Conduct internal HSEQ operational audits and inspections.
- Support the development and implementation of new HSEQ programs and training initiatives.
- Trade or construction background.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Computer and technology literacy.
- Current Drivers License.
- General Construction Industry Induction Card (white card).
- Willingness to travel for site inspections and training sessions.
- Electrical background.
- WHS Qualifications.
- Experience in safety activities within a construction, service or trade environment.
