Job Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Support Worker to provide high-quality care for a non-verbal female participant with neurological deficits and ASD.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with individuals who require extensive support, mobility assistance, and personal care services.

They will be willing and able to work collaboratively in line with best practice guidelines.

A reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance is required.

Availability for weekdays 7 AM to 7 PM (8 hours shifts) is necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting assistance
  • Offer in-home support, such as meal preparation and light cleaning
  • Support community access, including appointments, transportation, and social activities

Requirements:

  • Certificate I-IV (preferred)
  • First Aid Certification (preferred)
  • Working with Children Check (required)
  • National Police Certificate (required)
  • Driver Licence (required)
  • Availability to commute or relocate near Scarborough area

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with individuals with complex needs and mobility requirements
  • Strong driving skills and willingness to transport participants
