This role plays a vital part in ensuring high standards for WHS and Environmental Assurance and Audit Program. The EHS Manager is accountable for:
- Consultation across all levels on the maintenance and delivery of the WHS and Environmental Assurance and Audit program.
- A continuous improvement approach to the delivery of the WHS and Environmental assurance and audit program, aligned to safety strategies, legal requirements and ISO 45001 and 14001 standards.
- Leading improvements to maintain ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 certification.
- Undertaking and leading internal EHS assurance and audit activities.
- Preparing reports on the outputs of EHS assurance and audit activities to stakeholders.
- Managing and improving the organization's safety, health and environmental management systems.
- Collaborating with the IT Team to improve the use of Cority (Safety Management system).
- Assisting with incorporating new or changed WHS or environmental requirements into management system documents.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in leading assurance and audit programs, undertaking internal audits and managing systems. They will also be able to collaborate with colleagues, possess excellent communication skills and have strong problem-solving ability.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Demonstrated experience in leading assurance and audit programs.
- Strong understanding of WHS and Environmental regulations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability.
- Proficiency in software systems such as Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
