Job Opportunity: Health, Safety and Environmental Manager

We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environmental professional to join our team in Sydney or Brisbane. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in HSE management.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will report to the Executive Manager Safety & Sustainability - South and operationally to the Managing Director Motors Australia Retail and the Head of Commercial Operations Australia. They will provide quality safety leadership and direction for the organization, driving HSE strategies, cultural change initiatives and programs, while achieving best practice safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee a multi-disciplinary team delivering outstanding results and compliance
- Develop and implement HSE strategies and policies
- Conduct incident investigations and reporting
- Manage OH&S policies and procedures
- Provide training and facilitation to employees
- Maintain current knowledge of OHS legislation and regulations

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

- Tertiary qualifications in Health Safety, Environmental Sciences or a related field
- Minimum 10+ years' experience in a HSE leadership position in blue collar, high-risk industries
- ICAM or recognised root cause analysis qualifications
- Previous experience managing OH&S policies and procedures for a multi geographic diverse organisation
- Extensive incident investigation and reporting evidence
