Senior Environmental Health and Safety Professional

Job Overview:
">We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety and Environment Specialist to provide expert knowledge and advice on health, safety, and environmental matters to internal and external stakeholders.
">About the Role:

- Ensure site-based safety inspections and task observations are completed">
- Provide injury management and rehabilitation services">
- Deliver workplace safety training, including inductions, awareness, and site work health and safety training">
- Participate in project toolbox and pre-start meetings">
- Support on-site incident investigations">
- Identify HSE risks and develop action plans">
- Develop safe work and environmental practices to mitigate risk">
- On-site HSE subcontractor management">
Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards">
- Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions">
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards">
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate HSE risks">
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement">
Requirements:
">- ">
- Demonstrated experience in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) within civil construction, mining, or building industries">
- Recognised qualifications in HSE, such as a degree in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent">
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills">
- Able to lead, investigate, develop, mentor, and implement HSE initiatives">
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities">
