About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Medical Oncologist to join our team in the Illawarra Shoalhaven region. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert medical assessment and management of patients in the Cancer Care Service.
The role is a permanent 24 hour per week position, with the possibility of job sharing considered. We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development.

Selection Criteria
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- Specialist registration or eligibility for specialist registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Fellowship of The Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) with subspecialty training in Medical Oncology and/or equivalent specialist recognition
- Evidence of continuing medical education and self-monitoring/audit practices consistent with the scope of practice requirements of the position
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching and clinical research relevant to the role and needs of the Department
