Job Summary

This is a critical care position within our oncology department where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient outcomes.

We are seeking a dedicated professional with a passion for nursing to join our dynamic team, working 0.6FTE (three days per week) with no weekend or after-hours commitments.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to advance their career while providing exceptional support to patients throughout their cancer treatment journey.

Due to the ongoing impact of COVID-19, vaccination against this virus is required prior to appointment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based comprehensive oncology nursing care in accordance with relevant legislation and standards.
  • Conduct holistic assessments, provide education, and administer medications as required.
  • Collaborate with oncologists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements
  • Current registration and experience as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • 12 months of oncology experience is highly regarded.
