Business Partner Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Business Partner. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering strategic people initiatives and leading the HR function across our growing business.

  • You will be supported by the broader Corporate Services team to deliver complex ER / IR challenges and practices, offering solutions in line with the business's priorities and in accordance with relevant government policy, legislation, EA and industrial instruments.
  • You will act as a point of escalation and resolution for HR related queries, challenges and requests from internal and external stakeholders.
  • You will manage employee related investigations and serve as the primary point of contact for all internal stakeholders throughout the process.
  • You will develop and deliver project HR services that align with business needs.
  • You will support the development of HR strategies, focusing on continuous improvement in line with business retention and development plans.
  • You will lead workforce planning, succession, and talent initiatives aligned to business strategy.
  • You will act as a trusted advisor on performance and conduct.

About You

  • Have extensive HR experience, particularly with blue-collar workforces, and be able to deliver both strategic HR initiatives and hands-on support across the full employee lifecycle.
  • Be a specialist in IR / ER, with deep expertise in Industrial and Employee Relations across sectors like construction, mining, transport, and heavy industries.
  • Have strong knowledge of Australian employment law, including NES, Modern Awards, and EBAs.
  • Be skilled in leading organisational change, influencing senior stakeholders, and navigating ambiguity.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, known for a collaborative, consultative approach with excellent coaching, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
