Job Title: Commercial Contract Manager

We are seeking a skilled Contracts Administrator to lead the commercial management of our projects.

The ideal candidate will have direct experience working for a contracting organisation and possess strong analytical skills, with high attention to detail.

You will be responsible for reviewing and improving contract administration mechanisms, ensuring timely submission of client reports, and providing commercial support to upper management.

About the Role

  • Review and improve contract administration mechanisms
  • Ensure all reporting required by the client is submitted on time
  • Commercial review of head contracts and agreements
  • Provide support to upper management to ensure project commercial requirements are met
  • Implement and support subcontract management processes
  • Liaise with key stakeholders internally and externally
  • Work with the commercial team to ensure ongoing development and training

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective contract administration strategies
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of client reports and correspondence
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with project legal agreements
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance commercial knowledge and skills

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar commercial role
  • Analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • High levels of proficiency on commercial correspondence
  • Financial or accounting experience (advantageous)
  • Ability to understand risks and limitations associated with project legal agreements
  • Sound working knowledge of project administration and control applications
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders and suppliers
  • Written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, intermediate to advanced Excel skills
