We are seeking an experienced Disability Support Leader to oversee the implementation of individualised supports in supported independent living accommodation settings.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage individualised support plans in SIL/Group Homes settings.
- Develop and enhance the knowledge and abilities of Support Worker teams to ensure a person-centred culture.
- Provide direct support and leadership across various customer needs, including domestic and personal care assistance.
- Operate allocated SILs with administrative functions while providing leadership and mentoring to Disability Support Workers.
About You:
- Previous experience in health sector management is highly regarded.
- Cert 4 or higher in a related field such as disability studies or social work.
- Demonstrated leadership and management experience is highly valued.
- Able to work shift work, regular sleepovers, weekends, and public holidays with significant availability.
- Resilience, confidence, and ability to work independently and as a team.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to develop positive relationships.
- Ability to obtain NDIS Workers Screen Check and paid NSW and VIC Working with Children Check prior to commencement.
- Familiarity with computers and software programs.
- Current Driver's Licence.
