Job Title: Disability Support Team Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Disability Support Team Coordinator to join our team.

About the Position:
  • The successful candidate will oversee the implementation of individualised supports within supported independent living accommodation settings (SIL/Group Homes).
  • They will strengthen the knowledge and abilities of our Support Worker team to ensure a person-centered and high-quality culture within the program.

The Disability Support Team Coordinator will provide direct support and lead their team across a range of customer needs, including domestic and personal care assistance, as well as assisting customers to access and have a positive connection to the community.

This part-time permanent position requires a minimum of 50 hours per fortnight and will commence as soon as practicable.

About You:
  • Prior experience in the Health Sector is highly regarded.
  • Cert 4 or higher in a related field.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management experience is highly regarded.
  • Ability and willingness to work shift work, regular sleepovers/active nights, weekends and public/school holidays with significant availability.
  • Resilience, confidence and the ability to work independently and as a team.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to develop positive relationships.
  • Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement.
  • Ability to obtain a paid NSW and VIC Working with Children Check prior to commencement.
  • Ability to use computers and learn a variety of software/programs.
  • Smart Phone.
  • Current Driver's Licence.
