Family Violence Case Manager

About the Role
The Salvation Army Family Violence Services NT is seeking a skilled and compassionate Family Violence Case Manager to join our team. As a Family Violence Case Manager, you will be responsible for providing case management support to adult and child victim survivors of family violence.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish effective relationships with clients to encourage self-determination and participation.
- Provide specialist family violence case management and crisis support to clients in accordance with TSA case management models and standards of practice.
- Conduct ongoing family and domestic violence risk assessment and safety planning with clients using agreed tools.
- Develop individual case plans in collaboration with victim survivors, including a range of interventions that address their needs or goals.
- Implement and actively lead case plans, assisting victim survivors to access holistic support services.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Social Work is essential.
- Experience working in the family violence sector is desirable.
- Experience in specialist family violence and/or child wellbeing work is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated case management experience and skills.
- Highly developed time management and work prioritisation skills with an ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision required.
- Advanced computer skills including experience in data and record management.
- Ability and willingness to be on call.
- Relevant child protection requirements are obtained, for example, Ochre Card.
