Job Description

As a Microsoft Purview technical expert, you will design and implement data governance solutions for leading organisations. With strong technical expertise in Microsoft Purview, Microsoft 365, data security and governance, you will work on high-impact end-to-end projects with a team of experts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Classification: Design and deploy Microsoft Purview solutions to ensure seamless data classification, retention, and compliance.
  • Automation Workflows: Develop automation workflows using PowerShell, Python, or APIs to streamline governance processes.
  • Security Posture Enhancement: Align Purview with Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Microsoft Information Protection (MIP) to enhance security postures.
  • Risk Assessments and Compliance Audits: Conduct risk assessments, compliance audits, and ongoing optimization of Purview policies and configurations.
  • Clients Guidance: Work closely with clients to define data security strategies and provide guidance on best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Purview, Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance, and Azure governance tools.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or automation tools.
  • Demonstrated expertise in data classification, sensitivity labeling, insider risk management, and retention policies.
