Expertise in Wage Calculations

Gallagher Bassett, a leading third-party claims administrator, is seeking an experienced Claims Consultant to join our team as a PIAWE specialist. With a strong presence in Australia and New Zealand, we offer holistic recovery and return-to-work strategies that deliver superior outcomes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for advising on and providing technical support for wage calculations and determinations, ensuring accurate compensation decisions. They will engage with internal and external stakeholders, including case management and legal advisory personnel, to drive effective case management strategies and litigation matters.

This role offers a unique opportunity to build and grow technical expertise, operations, and processes within the function. As a key member of our team, you will participate in business projects and initiatives, collaborating with our mental health, complex care, and rehabilitation support hubs.

About You
  • Significant experience in technical or case management roles within workers' compensation settings, with demonstrated expertise in wage calculations and PIAWE decisions.
  • Exceptional time management, organisational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels of the organisation.
  • A strategic mindset and approach to work, with a strong sense of teamwork and collaboration.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary, ranging from $95,000 to $115,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience. In addition, you will enjoy a range of benefits, including:
