Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced professional to lead clinical governance, professional standards and operational excellence across all perioperative departments.

The ideal candidate will have recent experience in leading teams and overseeing multiple specialties within the perioperative department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead excellence in clinical governance, professional standards, and operational best practice
  • Ensure perioperative teams are staffed with skilled professionals and operate within a forward-looking framework responsive to evolving healthcare trends
  • Deliver safe, high-quality, and patient-centred perioperative care
  • Collaborate with national networks to shape capability and strategic direction of perioperative services
Requirements:
  • Current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)
  • Recent experience as a Floor Coordinator, Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), POSM or Theatre Educator within a Ramsay Facility with more than 5 years' experience overall
  • Experienced in overseeing and managing a range of specialties within the Perioperative department
  • Demonstrates a strong working knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks
