Perioperative Services Leadership Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled and experienced professional to take on a leadership position within our busy perioperative department.

  • As a member of the nursing executive team, you will play an integral part in service planning, commissioning, implementation, and ongoing operational activities.
  • You will provide expertise and leadership for perioperative services, working closely with the hospital executive team and other stakeholders to secure successful outcomes.
About the Role

This leadership role is designed to align with hospital objectives while delivering cost-efficient nursing services that emphasize exceptional, evidence-based patient care.

  1. Key Responsibilities:
    • Providing high-quality and safe services
    • Fostering collaborative relationships with visiting medical officers (VMOs)
    • Leading the workforce with energy and effectiveness
    • Ensuring rigorous financial oversight and operational efficiency
  2. Requirements:
    • Current Registration with AHPRAPost Graduate Qualifications in Nursing
    • Minimum of 5 years senior nursing experience within the Perioperative unit
    • High degree of computer literacy including MS Office
