Theatre Operations Manager

Lead a team of dedicated professionals in our Operating Theatre Department.

  • Shape organisational strategy, enhance service provision and achieve departmental objectives.
  • Manage 15 busy operating theatres for both elective and emergency procedures.
  • Work closely with Scrub Scout and Anaesthetic floor managers to ensure smooth running of the complex.
  • Achieve excellence in care delivery in line with best practice and legislative requirements.

Necessary Qualifications & Skills:

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse (AHPRA)

- Extensive clinical practice in perioperative role (minimum 5 years)

- Recent theatre management experience

- Ability to build rapport with VMOs and staff

- Commitment to improvement and excellence in outcomes delivery

- OHS responsibility and leadership in risk minimisation

- Activity analysis

- Resource management and implementing sustainable change

- Computer and scheduling skills
