Perioperative Team Lead

As a lead perioperative team member, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth surgical operations by coordinating staffing and managing clinical resources. You will also play a key role in staff development and performance monitoring, as well as facilitating operating room preparation and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate staffing to balance workload and resource needs
- Manage clinical resources and staffing levels to ensure high-quality care
- Develop and implement strategies for staff development and performance improvement
- Maintain a safe and efficient operating room environment through equipment maintenance and room preparation
- Support patient flow and provide person-centered care
- Experience in patient transportation and positioning within an Operating Suite, with the ability to adapt to changing demands
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to give direction and work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Solid knowledge of operating room equipment and maintenance procedures
- Familiarity with Work Health and Safety principles and requirements
- Ability to motivate and encourage teams to achieve high-quality outcomes
