Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our projects and ensure their successful delivery. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the project scope, timelines, and resources to meet our clients' expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project scope, timelines, and resources to meet client expectations.
  • Conduct technical reviews of quotations and review full work scopes to ensure safe execution and high-quality standards.
  • Establish work programs for testing, including planning and implementing test schedules.
  • Review technical standards and requirements, and write job-specific test procedures as needed.
  • Maintain, develop, and improve processes within the laboratory at all levels.
  • Provide financial data relating to jobs under control, including accurate forecasts of work completion.
  • Provide clear direction to the workshop/technicians and ensure successful project completion within timescales.
  • Provide technical leadership to the project team with support from senior colleagues and technical specialists.
  • Arrange and supervise on-site witnessing by clients and representatives during testing.
  • Perform review and audit activities, including technical contract reviews and job readiness reviews.
  • Provide regular progress reports and present results, close projects, and invoice.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organized with excellent communication and written communication skills.
  • Adaptable and flexible approach with experience working within an appropriate environment.
  • Ability to support the training of others to a high technical standard.
  • Familiarity with national and international testing standards.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of supporting software tools and high IT literacy.
