Sydney, New South Wales, Australia John Holland Full time

About John Holland

We're a leading provider of infrastructure, property, and rail solutions in Australia, New Zealand, and South East Asia. Our projects transform communities by making them easier to move around, more connected, and better to live in.

Our Digital Engineering (DE) & Technology team assists and supports our projects as they transition into digital practice and respond to client requirements. With multi-disciplinary experience in DE implementation and application, we stay at the forefront of DE delivery.

The Torrens to Darlington Alliance has secured the contract to deliver the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, contributing to a long-lasting legacy for the community and people of Adelaide. We're excited to work with the Australian and South Australian governments to deliver this city-shaping project that will provide safe and efficient journeys for motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists.

This role involves coordinating GIS activities and providing specialist GIS solutions for one of the nation's most iconic projects. As a GIS Project Coordinator, you'll plan and control the delivery of GIS for the Torrens to Darlington Project, establish and implement GIS workflows and processes, and manage project GIS data for all disciplines.

You'll provide support to Design and Construction teams using GIS applications and tools, perform spatial data management and data analysis activities, and configure ArcGIS Enterprise, Geodatabases, and Geocortex applications for the project. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to delivering a world-class project.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary degree in Built Environment, Survey, Mapping, GIS, Science, or Information Technology (IT).
  • GIS experience in the Engineering Consulting or Construction industry on large multi-discipline projects.
  • Experience in ArcGIS, VertiGIS/Geocortex, FME, and managing multiple competing priorities and organising workloads accordingly.

What we offer:

We pride ourselves on being an employer of choice with a diverse and inclusive workplace. Your success is reflected in ours, so we're committed to helping you develop your skills and make a difference. We have a flexible workplace and focus on all aspects of your physical and mental health and safety. Our estimated salary for this role is between $90,000 and $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
