Flight Attendant Role

The role of a flight attendant is to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers during flights.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the cabin environment, including equipment checks, announcements, food and beverage service, cleaning duties, and handling situations that may occur in the cabin.
  • Providing personalized service while traveling to unique destinations, focusing on attention to detail and safety-consciousness.

This role offers a great work-life balance, competitive remuneration, and includes working on weekends, public holidays, shift work, and some nights away from home.

Responsibilities also include developing key skills such as independence and self-reliance, customer focus, attention to detail and safety-consciousness.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Be aged 18 years or over.
  • Hold Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
  • No taller than 173 cm.
  • Hold a current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011).
  • Hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate.
  • Demonstrate one of the following qualifications:
  • Completed 3+ years secondary education in Australia or New Zealand.
  • Worked in Australia or New Zealand for 3+ of last 5 years.
  • Worked in UK, Ireland, or USA for 3+ of last 5 years.
  • Completed IELTS with an overall grade of 5.5.
  • Hold Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) after police security check.
  • Have customer service experience.
  • Ability to swim fully clothed without aid or floating device (swim assessment required).
  • Flexible; working hours vary including holiday times and peak periods.
  • High level of personal presentation.
  • Natural willingness to please and care for people.

Extensive training will be provided - flying experience is not required.
