About the Role:

The successful applicant will provide trauma-informed crisis intervention, case coordination, client-centered advocacy, and liaison with health professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialist counselling services to victims of domestic violence and their non-offending family members.
  • Conduct intake, assessment, case planning, and referral functions.
  • Engage in client-centered advocacy, liaison, and consultation with health professionals.
  • Collaborate across services to ensure clients receive the service they need, when they need it.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications in social work or a related field.
  • Experience in providing specialist counselling services to vulnerable populations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
