Job Title:

Transition Operations Director

Job Overview:

This position is responsible for leading critical operations and transition initiatives, ensuring smooth onboarding and offboarding of customers in Managed Services. The ideal candidate will drive service improvements, close gaps to enhance delivery, and work collaboratively with teams to plan and deliver effective transitions and improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead critical operations and transition initiatives
  • Ensure seamless onboarding and offboarding of customers in Managed Services
  • Drive continuous service improvement and gap analysis to enhance delivery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute effective transitions and improvements
  • Review proposals and designs to ensure they meet support standards
  • Coordinate teams to deliver projects on time and within scope
  • Provide technical expertise to support new business and tenders
  • Build strong relationships to ensure exceptional service and client satisfaction

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in IT Managed Services, operations, and leadership
  • Proven track record of leading client onboarding, transitions, and service improvements
  • Good knowledge of systems and network engineering (Windows Server, Azure, Office 365, VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix, SCCM, ServiceNow)
  • Skilled in ITIL, change management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Able to solve problems and remain calm under pressure
  • Effective documentation and presentation of technical information
  • Commitment to building long-term partnerships and driving service excellence
