SAP HCM Lead Role

This role involves leading the delivery of shared services operations and systems across government sectors.

About the Team

The team aims to consolidate and harmonize shared services operations and systems, enabling streamlined processes for employees to focus on customer needs.

  • Consolidation of ERP systems and processes
  • IT service and incident management
  • Travel and expense management

Effective processes will enhance organizational performance and efficiency.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement tools and processes to identify and facilitate improvements in business systems and workflows.
  • Manage initiatives and strategies applying best practice methodologies for consistency and improved performance.
  • Provide evidence-based advice and reports to ensure proposed solutions meet business requirements and consider change impacts.
  • Liaise with customers and stakeholders to monitor effectiveness of tools, systems, methods, and standards.
  • Support testing activities including updating test scripts and performing testing to ensure solutions meet requirements.
  • Coordinate planning and processes to ensure critical business functionality is tested and a quality system is delivered and accepted.
  • Support data migration and validation efforts.
  • Perform cutover activities as required for smooth transitions.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Leadership skills to motivate team members
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP Organisation Management functionality
  • Knowledge of SAP Personnel Administration and workflow functionality
  • Understanding of public sector HCM practices
  • Good understanding of testing and data migration methodologies
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel
  • Capability to perform data mapping, reconciliation, and issue investigation
  • Capability to perform structured testing and support end users in user acceptance testing
Requirements

Salary Grade 9/10, with the base salary for this role starting at $125,693 plus superannuation.
