Job Overview

The NSW Reconstruction Authority is seeking a Senior Program Officer to lead impactful programs that strengthen disaster resilience across NSW.

  • Manage and coordinate the development and delivery of complex program initiatives that support state-wide planning, preparedness, response, and recovery.
  • Lead research, provide expert advice, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure programs are evidence-based, strategically aligned, and effectively implemented.
  • Develop high-level reports, drive project milestones, and contribute to shaping disaster management outcomes.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Current unrestricted NSW drivers' licence.
  • An ability and willingness to travel within NSW and support other operational roles during disasters, emergencies, and other events.
