This role involves responsibility for activity-based funding within a large healthcare provider, reporting and analyzing end-of-month performance against targets, understanding variances, and liaising with relevant stakeholders.
The incumbent will need to develop an in-depth understanding of the funding models developed by the Independent Health and Aged Care Pricing Authority, as well as the ability to interpret activity, financial, and other business data.
About You- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and data quality;
- Able to demonstrate the ability to interpret activity, financial, and other business data;
- Experience working with large complex data sets;
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel and SQL;
- Some understanding of accounting practices;
- Experience with developing data or financial models;
- Able to work independently and within a team environment;
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills;
- Able to liaise with all levels of the organisation;
- Effective organisational, time management, written and verbal skills.
