What is the role?

A fantastic opportunity currently exists for an experienced Credit Analyst to join IQumulate. This 12 month fixed term role will primarily focus on credit risk for our short term financing to facilitate a business's payment of their annual insurance premiums. Our credit analyst is responsible for assessing, structuring, and recommending lending within the business banking premium funding product segment.

In this role some of your key accountabilities are:

  • Action credit activities to ensure achievement of required KPI's and SLA's
  • Undertake thorough financial analysis of respective counterparties
  • Balance new business growth whilst mitigating business wide exposure
  • Use initiative and understanding of economic factors to support credit decisioning
  • Understand, monitor and control key risks within credit function
  • Present analysis, findings and recommendations to broader business stakeholders
  • Proactively support the execution of the work queue to minimise exposure and ensure best outcomes
  • Maintain detailed working papers to support credit decisioning
  • Fostering a collaborative and dynamic team environment
  • Providing excellent customer service through strong stakeholder management

What are we looking for?

  • Exceptional communication - written, verbal and influencing skills
  • 2 years previous experience as a credit analyst
  • Understanding of Commercial/Consumer Financial products and credit management
  • Ability to analyse financial data including P&L, Balance Sheet and summarise succinctly
  • Proven decision making experiences through a commercial lens
  • High achievement drive: ability to self-manage and show initiative
  • Ability to work independently, efficiently, and accurately
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
