Grants Funding Specialist

The role of a Senior Grants Advisor is to provide strategic leadership and expertise in the development and implementation of funding strategies for research grants.
This involves working closely with researchers, senior executives, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities, develop proposals, and secure funding for research projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing a successful funding strategy for research grants.
- Providing expert guidance and support to researchers and other stakeholders on matters related to research funding.
- Building and maintaining relationships with funding agencies, including the Australian Research Council.
Requirements:
- Relevant postgraduate degree or equivalent experience in research administration.
- Demonstrated track record of success in securing research funding, particularly in category 1 schemes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and negotiate effectively.
