Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with clients who may be living with an illness, disability, or injury, providing occupational rehabilitation services to support their return to health and return to work outcomes.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Case management of clients with varying conditions, working closely with colleagues to alleviate administrative tasks;
  • Applying clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes through collaboration with employers, employees, medical professionals, and allied health professionals;
  • Developing and implementing injury prevention and workplace education programs in conjunction with clients and employers;
  • Conducting assessments, including initial, worksite, and vocational assessments, to support clients in achieving their goals;
  • Providing consultancy services on injury prevention and management, including group mental health training and general health and wellbeing-related education sessions.
About You:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications;
  • Full membership of a relevant professional association;
  • Previous experience working in occupational rehabilitation is highly regarded;
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders;
  • Compassion, kindness, and empathy are essential qualities for this role;
  • Well-developed time management skills and ability to manage a caseload effectively;
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
