Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our Commercial Finance team at Foxtel Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the Technology & Operations portfolio in planning and shaping the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end finance support, delivering financial modeling, analysis, and advice on key projects and initiatives.
  • Owning the budget and planning processes, ensuring actual results align to expectations across both capital and operating expenditure.
  • Review and assist with finalization of monthly management and financial performance, appropriate to Technology & Operations.
  • Manage business initiatives with detailed review against budgets and business cases.
  • Provide guidance and management oversight to processes such as procure to pay, contract governance.
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting process.

Requirements

  • CA/CPA Qualified with 5+ years of experience in a Commercial and/or Financial analyst business partnering role (Technology passion highly desirable).
  • Strong numerical ability and ability to quickly understand financial impacts of changes in key business drivers, with equal confidence in detailed modeling as quick judgment-based back-of-the-envelope estimates.
  • Commercial Contract/Vendor Management highly desirable.
  • Demonstrate an ability to build deep and trusted relationships with the business, be an advisor, and who can influence, challenge, and impact the commercial agenda.
  • Be comfortable navigating ambiguity and working flexibly as you may also have the opportunity to support other products and areas of the business.
  • Proactive mindset and ability to problem-solve and able to understand the bigger picture and implications of decisions across the wider organization.
  • Degree qualification in Finance, CA/CPA, or equivalent.
