The role of an Accounts Receivable Specialist involves managing the day-to-day activities related to accounts receivable.

This includes handling customer inquiries, processing payments, and following up on overdue invoices.

Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and performing data entry tasks as needed.

You will work closely with the collections agency to resolve any outstanding debts and ensure that all correspondence is properly filed.

This part-time role requires a high level of organization and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication skills.

You will be working in a fast-paced environment and must be able to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.

We are seeking a candidate with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, who is now ready to take on new challenges and responsibilities.

About the Role:

  • Data entry of accounts receivable transactions
  • Handling customer telephone queries on accounts
  • Preparing and sending monthly customer statements
  • FOLLOWING UP DEBTS VIA OVERDUE LETTERS TELEPHONE AND ORGANIZING DEBT COLLECTIONS/RECOVERY
  • Liaising with the Collections Agency regarding collections and queries
  • Managing their database by pausing invoices/product issues/debtor pauses/credits to clients and liaising with the Admin Team in all respects
  • ENSURING ALL DEBTOR CORRESPONDENCE IS ELECTRONICALLY FILED
  • RESOLVING ALL QUERIES USING THEIR INTERNAL TICKET SYSTEM

About You:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
