Cash Collection Specialist

The Accounts Receivable Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely payment of invoices from clients.
This position involves following up on overdue accounts via calls and emails, monitoring and managing client payment arrangements, resolving client queries in a timely and professional manner, and allocating payments and reconciling accounts accurately.

- Monitor and manage client payment arrangements to prevent delays.
- Resolve client queries in a timely and professional manner to maintain positive relationships.
- Allocate payments and reconcile accounts accurately to ensure financial integrity.
- Review and process credit notes, debtor, and small balances write-offs to optimize cash flow.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of collection activities and client communications to facilitate efficient decision-making.
- Send out monthly debtor statements to ensure timely payments.
- Assist the finance team with finance-related duties as required to support business operations.
The ideal candidate will have some experience in accounts receivable in a corporate or professional services environment. However, if you have the hunger and willingness to learn, full training and mentoring is provided.
