The RoleWe have an opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join our small Finance team based in Dandenong South, Victoria.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining accounts receivable with Finance and Sales professionals
- Telephone collections on overdue debtors, striving for 1st call resolution
- Compiling and processing information on all assigned debtors on aged trial balance
- Billing customers correctly for goods and services offered
- Issuing invoices and distributing them electronically or by mail
- Communicating with customers and coworkers to answer questions
- Resolving disagreements between the company and its debtors
- Requesting payment of pending debts in a firm yet considerate manner
- Negotiating payment arrangements when needed
- Keeping accurate records (customer information, received payments etc.)
- Preparing and submitting statements
- Daily cash allocations on all payments received
- Providing excellent customer service internally and externally
- Working actively to reach team and individual key performance indicators
A strong candidate will possess:

- Ability to work autonomously as well as have a team mentality with a positive attitude
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
