Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking a talented actuary to lead our risk management team in APAC. As an actuary, you will be at the forefront of quantifying risk, pricing insurance, and reserving losses for major operating companies globally.
The successful candidate will work closely with the regional actuarial team to achieve business goals and deliver on strategic initiatives. You will provide expert actuarial advice to business functions, including profit centres, underwriting, finance, and risk management, and support local regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate quarterly financial reporting requirements
- Support strategic portfolio reviews and deep dive analyses
- Prepare local regulatory reporting for Australia and New Zealand offices
- Review capital projections and investment strategies
- Provide support to budgeting and financial planning
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of General Insurance experience in long tail lines
- Proficiency in actuarial concepts and methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective project and time management and strong communication skills
