Assistant Winemaker Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Assistant Winemaker to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or an individual currently studying in the field of winemaking.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Winemaker in all aspects of winemaking, including cellar work, laboratory analysis, and spirit production. They will also have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Winemaker in all aspects of winemaking, including cellar work and laboratory analysis.
  • Contribute to the production of high-quality wines and spirits.
  • Develop skills in wine-making techniques and processes.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Winemaking/Oenology or currently studying same.
  • A current Drivers Licence.
  • Previous Winemaking/Cellar-hand experience (Laboratory and Distillation experience desirable but not essential).
  • An energetic and positive approach to work.
  • Fitness to perform manual activities.
  • A willingness to learn.
  • A valid forklift licence is preferable but not essential.
