About the Position.

We are seeking a passionate and skilled professional to join our team as a Wine Service Specialist. In this role, you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge of wine with guests and enhance their dining experience.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing our wine list, providing wine suggestions and food-wine pairing to guests, and educating colleagues about wine. Your exceptional communication skills and ability to work effectively with others will be key to your success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage our wine list and ensure that it meets the highest standards of quality and variety.
  • Provide wine suggestions and food-wine pairing to guests, taking into account their preferences and dietary requirements.
  • Educate colleagues about wine, including its production, regions, and types.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with wine suppliers and distributors.
  • Ensure that all wine-related services are delivered to the highest standards of quality and consistency.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • A strong passion for wine and a deep understanding of its production, regions, and types.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and suppliers.
  • A bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred, but not required.
  • WSET certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
