Project Wine Pty Ltd is a leading Grape Processing, Winemaking and Storage facility located in the Langhorne Creek wine region. Processing up to 15,000 T of fruit from many regions within South Australia, the winery primarily provides contract winemaking services to a diverse client base.
- Oversee customer winemaking from fruit receival through to bottle ready products
- Contribute to their production logistics, planning and execution
- Monitor and maintain wine quality exceeding client expectations and meeting specifications
- Maintain wine records and reporting to clients
- Manage risks related to wine production
- Participate in tasting, blending and trial work
- Proactive communication, tasting and planning with clients to ensure quality outcomes
- Active participation in the company quality, environmental and safety policies
- Preparation of commercial wine samples

Job Requirements

You will require;
- A degree in Winemaking or Oenology or equivalent with good technical knowledge
- Experience in a previous winemaking position
- Familiarity with Food Safety Management Systems, Standards and Organic production
- The flexibility to work extended hours including weekends during peak periods (vintage)
- Competent use of Microsoft Office Excel and Word and Winery Specific Software
- Evidence you are a team player, able to supervise, organise and plan using your excellent time management skills
- A positive attitude, resilient, highly motivated with an eye for detail
- A passion for wine making, quality and a willingness to work in all areas of the winery
