Job Description

As a Senior Platform Engineer within our team, you will be building and supporting platforms that are data-driven and customer-centric, fostering that culture within our Group. This includes experimenting with emerging AI assisted engineering tools and cloud services, providing feedback and insights from real world testing.

You will also be responsible for collaborating with our team to tackle complex technical problems, contributing to design and implementation to ensure quality engineering outcomes. Additionally, you will be delivering robust and reusable solutions that integrate seamlessly into other teams' workflows and products.

  • Designing and implementing scalable, maintainable and reliable platforms
  • Working knowledge of AI / ML and Gen AI applications and how they can enhance platform engineering processes to improve productivity
  • Exposure supporting RAGs using LlamaIndex, LangChain, or similar frameworks

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Experimenting with emerging AI assisted engineering tools and cloud services, providing feedback and insights from real world testing
  2. Building platforms and tools to meet the highest possible quality standards while simultaneously balancing security, performance, availability, and maintainability concerns
  3. Collaborating with the team to tackle complex technical problems, contributing to design and implementation to ensure quality engineering outcomes
  4. Delivering robust and reusable solutions that integrate seamlessly into other teams' workflows and products
  5. Actively participating in code reviews, maintain high quality code bases and assist in documentation for knowledge sharing
