Data Platform Operations Lead

Discover a unique opportunity to lead the operation, optimization, and enhancement of a cloud-based data platform. The ideal candidate will oversee platform health, cost, security, and performance across multiple components.

This challenging role involves:

  • Leading a team to ensure the ongoing operation and continuous improvement of the data platform.
  • Owning operational support processes, issue resolution workflows, and incident response procedures.
  • Implementing monitoring, alerting, and observability frameworks.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to design and agree on key SLAs for data delivery and ensuring they are delivered via regular reports.

The successful candidate will drive a Continuous Improvement (CI) agenda, identifying and executing performance tuning opportunities, automating manual processes, and leading the CI backlog.

To excel in this position, you will need:

  • 7+ years' experience in data operations, platform support, or engineering.
  • Proven experience leading DataOps or DevOps in cloud-based data environments.
  • Demonstrated track record in operational support, platform optimization, and incident management.
