Senior Data Analyst Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our Data Analytics practice within the Financial Services sector.

This is an exciting opportunity for a data-driven SQL experienced individual with a passion for coding and data visualisation as part of a large-scale Consumer Banking Transformation program.

The successful candidate will be at the forefront of providing operational insights and valuable analysis to support the data-driven business, developing reporting solutions to enhance data visualisation and decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis for Analytical extractions, manipulation, and wrangling using SQL / Teradata / Python
  • Experience in a business change environment
  • Create large datasets for analysis and reporting purposes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Consumer Banking experience is highly advantageous
  • Tableau Visualization skills are advantageous
  • Experience working with Credit Cards, Home loans, Equipment Finance products is advantageous
  • Developing data solutions in data warehouses or big data platforms is advantageous
  • Translating business processes and operational performance into data for generating metrics and insights is highly desirable
  • 5+ years working in an analytical role, Lean Analytics experience is desirable
  • Leveraging both quantitative and qualitative data is beneficial

The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, a strong understanding of statistical concepts, and the ability to effectively communicate complex data insights to stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and data analysis techniques
  • Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing and big data platforms
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks effectively
